According to PageSix, it was confirmed on Friday that the 30-year-old R&B superstar is expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris. This is the second child for the “She Ain’t You” performer who also shares 5-year-old daughter Royalty with former fling Nia Guzman.

Similar to what caused his last big breakup with actress Karreuche Tran, Brown and his most recent girlfriend Indyamarie recently split after she learned of Harris’ pregnancy. If you can remember, Brown was openly dating Karrueche back in 2015 when he learned that he was the actual father of Guzman’s daughter Royalty.

Brown has been hinting that Harris was pregnant by leaving “my baby mama” comments underneath her photos. But he most recently made headlines on Wednesday when the “Loyal” singer threw major shade at Karruche’s current boyfriend, Victor Cruz.

“No shade boo, BUT PLEASE STYLE HIM,” Brown commented on the former NFL player’s photo with Tran, 30, in a now-deleted series of comments. “He look like he shopping of the manikin and trying to bargain wit the sales manager. Retired wrestler spanks [sic].”

The hotheaded star also offered to “take [Cruz] around to style him,” and insisted the multiple comments were “not hate” and he was just “f–king around.”

22-year-old Dravon Ames was with his pregnant fiancée, Iesha Harper, and their two young children on May 29 near 36th and Roosevelt streets when several Phoenix police officers approached their car with guns drawn after their daughter walked out of a Family Dollar store with a doll.

The shocking video shows officers screaming and cursing at the couple in front of their children to “put your fucking hands up.” One officer can be seen pointing a gun at the car with the children inside, while another can be heard saying, “You’re gonna fucking get shot!” Another officer is seen slamming Ames’ face against a police car and then kicking his legs apart. Meanwhile, another officer attempts to yank Harper’s 1-year-old daughter out of her arms.

The family has since filed a notice of claim against the city of Phoenix where they are seeking $10 million in damages. According to the notice of claim, the officer punched Ames in the back while he was pressed up against the police vehicle. The family says Dravon suffered physical injuries as a result of the encounter as well as their 1-year-old child who was injured when the cop attempted to yank the baby out of Harper’s arms. Former Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is representing the family.

“The police officers committed battery, unlawful imprisonment, false arrest, infliction of emotional distress, and violation of civil rights under the fifth and 14th amendments of the United States Constitution,” the claim states.

“The first officer grabbed the mother and the baby around both of their necks, and tried to take the baby out of the mother’s hand. He told her to put the baby on the ground, which she was unwilling to do because the baby could not walk, and the ground consisted of hot pavement,” the notice of claim states. “The first officer pulled the baby by the arm to get her away from the mother, which injured the arm, in a condition known as ‘dead arm.’ Island [the couple’s 1-year-old child] has been having nightmares and wetting her bed, which she has not done before this incident,” it states.

Harper also alleges one of the officers told her he “could have shot you in front of your fucking kids” while she was handcuffed in the back of a police car.

Phoenix police say they’re investigating the incident but have not released the names of the officers involved. The police told ABC15 (KNXV-TV) that the officer who cursed, threatened, and roughed up Ames is on a “non-enforcement assignment.”However, the other officer who pointed a gun at Harper and her children inside the vehicle remains on patrol, Pheonix New Times reports.

“Everyone wants the community to be safe, and the more opportunity we have and that they have and the support that we help give them, the safer everyone will be,” Kardashian West told an East Room crowd.

Kardashian West went on to announce Lyft’s new ride-share program that will help former prisoners get transportation to job interviews, work and other events. Prior to her White House visit, she tweeted a video of herself en route to the event Thursday afternoon.

“I am heading to the White House to speak at the second chance hiring and reentry event,” she said, adding in another tweet that she was “honored to be a part of the announcement that the administration and the private sector are stepping up to create opportunities for these men and women to succeed once home.”

She also spoke openly about her passion for criminal justice reform and plans for the future.

The “Money” emcee took to Twitter on Wednesday where she confirmed that she won’t be going under the knife ever again.

“I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause bitch I ain’t getting surgery againbut let me tell you I haven’t got a headache ever since,” she tweeted on Wednesday.

On Monday, the 26-year-old shared a graphic photo of her swollen feet on Instagram and revealed it was due to complications from liposuction.

“Look how swollen my feet get every time I take flights my stomach gets even more puffy,” she captioned the since-deleted shocking photo. She added that her “feet and stomach burn when [she] get[s] puffed up,” which is why doctors told her to rest.

She took to Instagram Live to add,

“I hate canceling shows because I love money. I’m a money addict, and I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I’m canceling millions of dollars in shows, but like, health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do.”

It looks like Cardi has had a change of heart after she defended her use of plastic surgery last July after giving birth to her daughter with Migos rapper Offset, Kulture Kiari Cephus.

“[People tell me], ‘You lazy, you should just work out,’” she said on Instagram Live. “I do whatever the f—k I want to do with my body. I don’t have the time of day like you do. Like, my job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no, I don’t have time to work out and I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out, [will] not get fixed.”

Following their recent announcement that JAY-Z became the first rapper to reach billionaire status, Forbes released their list for Hip-Hop’s Next Billionaires: Richest Rappers 2019.

With the list only having five spots, it’s no surprise that Hova came in the number one spot, with his fellow hip hop moguls Dr. Dre coming in second with a net worth of $800 million and Diddy coming in third at $740 million.

That leaves Yeezy and Drizzy closing out the list in the fourth and fifth spots with Kanye taking fourth with his $240 million fortune that surpassed Drake $150 million net worth. According to Forbes, Kanye’s debut on the list can be attributed to his Yeezy partnership with Adidas.

But don’t count Champagne Papi out. As the youngest of the five, Forbes reports that Drake’s fortune grew 50 percent in the last year thanks to his investment in Virginia Black whiskey and his Las Vegas residency.

“The 32-year-old Canadian is the youngest on this list by a decade, but he’s quickly gaining ground on hip-hop’s elder statesmen.”

The unnamed teacher was terminated by from Linwood Elementary School after the child’s mother demanded for her removal.

“It was just really devastating,” said Syreeta Spencer.

Spencer’s 11-year-old daughter, Jasmyn, was eating lunch with friends, who were mostly children of color when a school employee reprimanded them for misbehaving.

“The teacher was like, you’re lucky I’m not making you pick cotton and clean my house and stuff like that,” said Jasmyn, who is biracial. “It made me feel really sad and targeted.”

After learning of the teacher’s outburst, she immediately went to the school for a meeting with the principle.

“If she were to curse at the kids or yell at them, that’s forgivable and we can work past that,” said Spencer. “To say something about picking cotton and cleaning and painting houses, that’s deeper than that and it’s not something that just slips out.”

Following an investigation into the incident, the principal released a letter to all parents letting them know that the teacher had been fired.

Dear families of our Linwood Elementary School Community:

I wanted to update you on the situation that occurred last week in our school community. We have concluded our investigation about the inappropriate racialized comments by a staff member to students. The employee involved is no longer employed within the North Clackamas School District.

We know and understand that the impact of words spoken can be hurtful for our students and that was the case in this situation. I deeply regret this impact and will continue to work with our students and school community to make sure they are heard and feel supported.
Our school and the school district are committed to an inclusive environment that honors each student’s identity and provides safety, respect, and care in each of our spaces.

The two superstars participated in a funding round of $22.5 million for the startup company behind the app called Step. According to TechCrunch, the app will be attached to a MasterCard where parents will be able to view their child’s transactions, add money and place restrictions on their account.

The app evolves as the teens get older and users will be able to receive loans through the service for college school supplies. The CEO and founder of Step, CJ MacDonald, explained the app’s goal of teaching kids financial literacy and responsibility in ways they’re not receiving at school.

“Schools don’t teach kids about money,” he stated. “We want to be their first bank accounts with spending cards, but we also want to teach financial literacy and responsibility. Banks don’t tailor to this, and we want to be a solution teaching the next generation of adults to be more responsible with money in the cashless era. It was easy with cash to go to the mall, but now everyone is using their phone for Uber and more.”

The app will release exclusively in the U.S. before expanding to other markets.

The U.S. Embassy announced on Wednesday that the FBI would be launching an investigation into the recent deaths of three American tourists at the same resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Authorities in DR have asked the FBI for help in investigating the mysterious deaths of 41-year-old Miranda Schaup-Werner, and couple Nathaniel Edward Holmes and Cynthia Ann Day who died over a five-day span while vacationing at the Bahia Principe resort last month.

“We ask everyone to be patient while these investigations run their course,” a statement from the embassy read, adding that toxicology results could take up to a month. 

Schaup-Werner “died suddenly and inexplicably in her hotel room” on May 25 after having a drink from the minibar. Her husband, Daniel Werner, was present when she began feeling ill and collapsed. An autopsy concluded Schuap passed away of a “heart attack” after suffering respiratory failure and pulmonary edema, which is a buildup of fluid in the lungs.

Engaged Maryland couple 63-year-old Edward Nathaniel Holmes, and 49-year-old Cynthia Day, 49, died five days later after they checked into the nearby Grand Bahia Principe La Romana resort the same day of Schaup’s death. On May 30, the hopeful newlyweds were found dead in their hotel room. Autopsy reports said the couple had suffered respiratory failure and pulmonary edema.

Earlier this week the U.S. State Department confirmed that the death toll has risen after a fourth American tourist died while vacationing at one of the country’s luxurious, all-inclusive resorts. 67-year-old Robert Bell Wallace died just over a month before the three other deaths on April 14. Wallace’s niece, Chloe Arnold, told Fox News that her uncle became ill after drinking scotch from the mini bar in his room at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana.

According to iwaspoisoned.com, nearly 70 travelers have reported falling sick during their visit to DR since March. According to the New York Post, 45 of the travelers said they were guests at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana. Patrick Quade, founder of iwaspoisoned.com, told the outlet that,

“People report food-borne illnesses but it’s possible that they experienced some other type of contamination.”

The State Department issued a statement earlier this month, saying it was “actively monitoring” the country’s investigation into the “tragic” tourist deaths, but have so far found no evidence that the incidents are connected.

But fast forward two years later and Miley is finally admitting to using her privilege and issued an apology to the hip hop scene.
